July 1st

July 1st has long been a special day in our family as it is my wife, Karin’s birthday. It’s halfway though the year–a perfect time to reflect on the first half and plan for the second half. Now, July 1st will have additional meaning for us as I am pleased to announce that I have purchased Dog Day Afternoon, Baltimore’s premiere dog walking and pet sitting company.

First, I would like to extend a hearty thank you to Adam Maslowski who has owned Dog Day Afternoon for 8 years. It has been a pleasure working with Adam and I wish him the best of luck in his new adventure.

Secondly, you have probably noticed that Dog Day Afternoon has a new look.

Thanks to my wife, Karin Tracy of little b, we have a new logo, website and business collateral. We are continuing to update our Facebook page and are tweeting as well. We would love to get your feedback on the new look and hope you will interact with us online.

You may be wondering how Dog Day Afternoon will change under my ownership and direction. My day-to-day involvement will be much the same. I will be out on the  streets of Baltimore happily walking your dogs and inside giving your cats scratches and love. I will be, of course, working on business development and general company management as well. I have hired three exceptional dog walkers and look forward to introducing them to our clients.

If you have any questions or comments, I look forward to speaking with you personally. I can be reached at dan at dogdaywalking.com or 443-380-DOGS.
